Biographical Summary                

 

 

Christina Vasquez Case is a North American native, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.  She is a graduate student at the University of Missouri-Columbia, pursuing a Ph.D. in Rural Sociology with a minor in International Development. Christina has worked on Hispanic issues in rural Missouri communities and her dissertation topic is, Perceptions of Health Care Quality: Does Culture Matter?

Experiences:

She is a Research Assistance with Saint Louis University. Since August 1999, Christina's has made numerous presentations associated with the challenges and complexities associated with the Hispanic influx in rural Missouri communities. Her audiences include; Missouri State Officials, Local Government Officials, Universities, Community Groups and others. 

 

Christina is a Desert Strom Veteran with a total of twenty-nine years of military service.  She currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with the Missouri Army National Guard.
