Sketch
Dr. Susan
Dollar is currently an Assistant Professor in the School
of Social Work at Southwest Missouri
State University
in Springfield, Missouri.
She earned her M.S.W. in 1990 from the University
of Missouri in Columbia
and was awarded her Ph.D. in Social Work from Tulane University
in 1998. While in Louisiana,
she worked for the Southeast
Louisiana Area
Health Education
Center on a number of
rural health-related projects. Dr.
Dollar’s current research interests include rural mental health, HIV prevention
among high-risk populations, and Hispanic health issues.
