Student Gathering at the Cambio de Colores 2016 Conference
Cambio Center student fellows are taking the lead in organizing a meeting for students.
Are you looking for an opportunity to meet and network with other passionate students interested in Latino and immigrant communities in the Midwest? If so, don't miss this great event.
We are planning a student gathering at Cambio de Colores 2016, which will provide us the opportunity to become acquainted and establish an academic network across multiple universities in the region.
This will be the first student gathering in our conference, so we will focus on sharing our research interests, discussing our needs/interests in building a student network, and planning for the future. Also, we will create communication methods for future collaborations to expand our support network and research agendas.
The meeting will be 10am-12pm on Wednesday, June 8th. The conference then starts at 1pm.
All are welcome. Please contact decolores@missouri.edu for questions and RSVP either by email or using the Facebook event.
There is a student poster competition on June 8th in the evening. See details here. Check the homepage announcements to see if the conference is still receiving poster submissions on a rolling basis.
